About Vikki
Massage background
Vikki graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 1996. Upon graduating, Vikki returned to the school to instruct Sutherland-Chan's Principles of Sports Massage and Remedial Exercise courses as well as supervise students in a sports out reach program until 2002.
Vikki became part of a special injury program through WSIB from 1998-2001, working with individuals who had suffered catastrophic injuries. This experience lead to her career working with athletes with a physical disability.
Until 2011, Vikki was a consultant for the William Osler Health Centre Assessment Solutions, providing expert opinion in the field of massage therapy in dispute resolution between insurance companies and claimants where bodily injury occurred as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Vikki has expanded on that experience by continuing to take courses in orthopedic assessment, biomechanics, exercise management while attending lectures and conferences to keep her up to date on the changes in concussion, cancer treatments and joint replacement/treatments.
Achievements include 2 diplomas in nutrition, a certification in sports nutrition and completion of her certification as a personal trainer.

From 1998 - 2015, Vikki was one of the team therapists for the Canadian Para Swim team, attending major competitions and training camps to work with athletes.
She was a member of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapist Association from 1998-2022 and is currently a Certified Personal Trainer.
On a personal note
Vikki and her husband Kevin are avid hikers, kayakers and scuba divers, with Vikki achieving her certification as a Divemaster. Together, Vikki and Kevin share a love of dogs and have been active in rescuing Labrador Retrievers!
